One of the best parts of my job is getting to watch families grow and welcome a new addition into their lives and more importantly their hearts. I had the privilege of capturing sweet Peter's first portraits as well as the entire Makris family. Their session was so much fun and I love when clients start feeling more like friends. This weekend, I got to photograph a precious little boy's first birthday party. The western themed celebration took place at Chastain Park's Horse Stables and Brooks' sweet mama really outdid herself with the adorable decorations! There were so many cute details, and she thought of everything down to a candy bar, crafts for the older kids, and a mini western saloon photo booth. Definitely the best kid birthday party I had ever been too! The weather was also perfect, and everyone enjoyed being outside and seeing the sunshine for once. It was such a special event to celebrate the first year of this little boy's life and see all of the friends and family that have been alongside them in this new chapter.
