One of my favorites bridal portraits from Saturday's wedding. Enjoy!
CAMP Spring Supper
So excited to share these pretties with you today! I had the privilege of shooting CAMP's recent Spring Supper at Sun In My Belly a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful evening filled with so much beauty and so many wonderful people. It was the kind of night when you look around and think that your heart may just burst from all this goodness. The Atlanta creative community is a beautiful big family and I am blessed beyond measure to be a part of it and to know so many wonderful people. Thank you CAMP leaders for having me capture such a wonderful event and thank you to the creatives that donated their time and talent to create a gorgeous space for everyone to gather, meet, connect, and encourage one another in this creative world. Photo of the Week | Protective Big Sister
Family dynamics is always an interesting thing to learn about and observe. As a big sister myself, I am always curious as to how the older sibling(s) are adjusting to the new family member and try to make sure I am not neglecting him or her while my camera focuses on the tiny new addition. My last newborn session included the sweetest pup, who was still trying to figure out her new baby brother, Alex. I just love her expression here, and gosh isn't this nursery gorgeous?! Lots more to come of this sweet shoot.
Family Portraits + Easter Weekend | Personal
Happy Easter, friends! We took advantage of the beautiful light that was pouring in our living room yesterday on the drizzly Saturday and snapped a few new portraits of our sweet Penny pup. This weekend has been so nice and slow and filled with lots of quality time together; just what we needed! After church this morning, we celebrated with a yummy brunch with friends. It was pretty perfect. Hope you are having a wonderful Easter weekend as well.
Atlanta Wedding Photographer | Lauren + Andrew
A few weeks ago, I got to shoot with my good friend Paige Jones and capture Lauren and Andrew's wedding. The wedding was so beautiful and the couple was a dream to work with. They were so laid back and it made for a really fun afternoon and evening capturing their ceremony at Grace Midtown and then reception at Monday Night Brewing. We also got to go to an awesome parking deck and get some killer shots with some of the Midtown high rises. Be sure to check out more from the wedding here. Thank you Lauren and Andrew for being amazing to work with and thank you Paige for having me join you!
Atlanta Newborn and Family Photographer | Baby Tessa
I have been shooting a lot of newborn sessions lately and I am loving the sweetness and the detail that come with these types of portraits. Newborns allow me to take my time and focus on those precious details with my macro lens and really capture the wonderful emotions that come with a new life. However, we always have a few good outtakes between capturing the photos that make your heart swoon, because lets be honest, newborns can definitely be a challenge! But when the mom and I finally get the baby back to sleep and the stars aline, a little piece of heaven is captured and it is so rewarding. It is always such an honor to be the first professional to capture the little one's portraits and my hope is that my photographs will be treasured for years to come. I have loved watching my newborn clients grow up over the years and I look forward to taking this little girl's photos throughout the first year of her life. Below are a few favorites from sweet Tessa's newborn session a couple weeks ago. I just can't get over her lashes in the first shot below. So pretty! Hope you enjoy.
