Atlanta Food Photographer | Project Sip : Peach, Please!

Remember when Jenn Gietzen and I went to that peach farm? Well, we loved the peaches that we bought so much, that we decided to incorporate them into a summer cocktail.  When we were developing the recipe, we decided that we wanted to start something we like to call Project Sip, because we realized that we both had a love for signature cocktails and fresh simple recipes.

We wanted to create a delicious cocktail with five or less ingredients, focusing on seasonal elements and flavors.  Our hope is to create a collection of drinks celebrating the seasons throughout the year.   Jenn and I will be co-creating the drinks, Jenn will be doing the recipe specifics and hand lettering, and I will be doing the styling and photography.  We hope you are as excited about our new project as we are.  You can see this recipe today featured on Design Sponge.  Enjoy!

Special thanks to our lovely model, Candice Beaty!

Atlanta Wedding Photographer | Elizabeth and Andrew

"A wedding at home".  There is something so special and intimate about getting married on family property and celebrating the most exciting day of your life in the comfort of your family's home.  I immediately think of Father of the Bride and all of George Bank's crazy lines about the "Steak Pit" and swans in the bathtub and that last scene when George is trying to get to the front of the house for the send off - gut wrenching! Thankfully, the last wedding I shot at the bride's home had no glitches with the exit and had a gorgeous back drop to celebrate these two love birds!  Both the ceremony and reception were at the bride's parents' gorgeous home in Buckhead.  Below are a few of my favorite frames from their day.  Elizabeth and Andrew, thank you for having me capture your beautiful wedding day!

Peach Farm Market Collab | Jenn Gietzen of Write On! Designs

I am thrilled to announce my second collaboration with Jenn Gietzen.  This Write On! Designs Market Collab was inspired by summer and our love of our state fruit, the peach.  Jenn and I ventured out last week to a local peach farm and did some exploring and of course tasting.  The people were so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed touring the farm.  After being inspired and taking a few photos, Jenn applied her magic to two of my favorite photos and created a peach series that I believe will sweeten up anyone's day.  See more below from our peach farm adventure and our market collab!  Both creations can be found here for purchase.

And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.

This two part print series comes printed on 12" x 12" thick banner paper.  Each one is hand painted in gold gouache.  Sample above is shown in these frames from IKEA.
