2017, WHAT A YEAR! My first year with two full time jobs - motherhood + running a freelance business. Not always easy and picture perfect like above, but definitely a fun adventure. Looking back on the year I am humbled at the exciting opportunities that unfolded and so thankful for all of the amazing people that I got to work with. I was fortunate to work with a variety of clients from bloggers and small businesses to national publications and well known brands to create work that I am really proud of. Thank you to everyone who helped make these images great and make 2017 my favorite year yet. See below for some highlights from my favorite shoots this year and cheers to 2018 with more food, travel, and lifestyle adventures!

On September 22nd, we got to meet our newest addition to our family, Thomas. I barely remember taking these photos of him in the hospital, but I'm so glad I did. Such a sweet time in life getting to meet your child for the first time. We are blessed!
If you are looking for the best biscuits in Atlanta, look no further than Callie's Hot Little Biscuits. Originally from Charleston, the biscuit shop has now settled on a corner in charming Virginia Highlands. Lucky for me I got a behind the scenes look at Callie's when I shot a biscuit making class a few weeks ago with the Waiting On Martha team. It was so much fun to learn biscuit tips while shooting and of course sampling. Below are some of my favorite shots from the afternoon.
Back with another feature on Style Me Pretty Living today! Ashley Buzzy is an incredible artist in Atlanta who specializes in calligraphy and letterpress. A few months ago I photographed her Atlanta workshop while brushing up on my penmanship. It was so much fun getting to learn from her and practice my hand lettering; however, I will say that Ashley makes it look a lot easier than it actually is, meaning I will be sticking to just photography :) Enjoy some snaps from the workshop and for more information about her upcoming workshops across the country, check out Ashley's website.
